The CESAR tool was designed to increase drilling efficiency and reduce MSE, especially in extended-reach projects. It helps condition rough transitions and ledges in the dogleg curve/lateral. It also naturally induces pressure waves to draw no-flow cuttings back up into the lateral flow path to create a gun-barrel-like wellbore.
